About Green Butterfly
At the Green Butterfly, we believe our store is more than a place - it's a gathering of souls. Inspired by transformation, creativity, and connection, our mission is to create a peaceful, welcoming space where every visitor feel seen, inspired, and loved.
We don't exist to simply sell vintage items - we exist to awaken beauty, stir nostalgia, and spark creativity in all who walk through our doors. Our goal is not profit, but presence. Not transaction, but transformation. The Green Butterfly is a sanctuary where style meets soul and where the quiet power of love and intentionality can be felt in the air, in the details, and in the stories behind each piece.
Serena Rasberry Flowers
Serena Rasberry Flowers is the founder and creative force behind The Green Butterfly, a curated vintage and lifestyle brand rooted in story, soul, and Southern grit. With a background in law and public policy, Serena spent decades advocating for causes close to her heart before turning her attention to something even more personal—style as self-expression, nostalgia as art, and reinvention as a way of life.
Raised on a farm in Mississippi and steeped in a lineage of strong, resourceful women, Serena has always believed in the magic of transformation. Her life took a pivotal turn at age 21, when a small green butterfly appeared during a moment of deep uncertainty—marking the beginning of a lifelong relationship with change, beauty, and purpose.
Now in her 50s, Serena blends vintage fashion, storytelling, and soulful retail into The Green Butterfly. It’s more than a shop—it’s a gathering place for memory and meaning, honoring where we come from and how far we’ve flown.
She is married to Merle Flowers, and together they have proudly raised seven children—a modern, blended family rooted in love, faith, and a shared vision for a creative, meaningful life.
Wings Behind the Work

Taylor Grace Jones
Boutique Boss
I’m Taylor Grace—store manager, operations wrangler, and part-time “Taylor the tailor” when I’m behind the sewing machine. I’ve been with GBA since day one!
When I’m not managing the madness, I only answer to momma. Most days I’m bouncing between the park, half-finished art projects, a thrift run or two, and something good simmering on the stove.
My style mixes band tees, bold prints, flowy dresses, and a touch of gold jewelry to keep things interesting. -
Haisten Hardin
PR Pollinator
My love for fashion began when I was a little girl, watching my mom bring her designs to life as a fashion designer. The rhythmic hum of her sewing machine was the soundtrack to many late nights, and rummaging through her “old clothes” quickly became my favorite way to get ready.
As an adult, I spent four transformative years living in London, where I embraced the city’s effortlessly cool, chic rocker aesthetic. That experience helped shape my own style—one that thrives on mixing old and new to create something truly unique.
My current role at Green Butterfly was a serendipitous opportunity that landed in my lap, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Every day I get to work with pieces that inspire creativity and celebrate individuality! -
Shan Montgomery
Style Alchemist
Shan is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff for the Mississippi Board of Nursing, where she manages a $10M budget and strategic initiatives. With degrees in Finance, Business, and Public Policy, she brings precision and vision to every role. At Green Butterfly, she’s our Style Alchemist—transforming simple pieces into statements, much like her favorite game of golf: deceptively simple, endlessly complex.

Cara Dale
Sartorial Sage
By day, you’ll find me at Central Surgical Associates, where I work as a medical assistant in general surgery. On Friday afternoons and Saturdays, though, I trade scrubs for style—letting my creativity shine through bold palettes, moody dark tones, and playful bursts of color.
I’m a proud 2023 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in kinesiology, and I’m an aspiring physician assistant.
Fashion and medicine might sound like an unlikely pair, but for me, they’re both about precision, passion, and expression. Whether I’m in the clinic or experimenting with patterns, I love exploring the artistry in both fields.
I can’t wait to share my journey with you at The Green Butterfly Atelier. -
Amanda
Backstage Butterfly
Hey y’all ! I’m Amanda, AKA, Mano…the behind the scenes volunteer for GB’s muscle and moral support! My strengths at GB lie in handywoman duties, I am a champ with a hammer and nail, and even better at taking care of all the small details to make the GB and her beautiful team have an exceptional environment to work their magic.
Most of my days are spent managing a full-time Executive Role, being the proud wife to TC, cheering for our four adult children across three different states, and enjoying our “open-nest” on our small farm.
My style is western-casual inspired, with the occasional mix of sequins or statement jewelry for a little bit of extra sass. I own enough pairs of cowgirl boots to cover at least a pair a day for a weeklong trip and love all things vintage leather.
